David hopes to share outdoor adventures with the masses through his role as public relations chair. His favorite activities around Iowa include road and mountain biking, running, river tubing, and camping. Whenever possible, he loves to hit higher altitudes out west. Currently at the top of his outdoor adventure bucket list are kiteboarding in South Africa and completing a via ferrata trek in the Italian Dolomites. David enjoys helping athletes and outdoor lovers stay active during the week days as a chiropractor and Active Release Techniques provider at Compass Chiropractic in Clive.
Whenever possible David includes his little buddy, George, in his activities. George is a Tibetan Terrier/Blue Heeler mix who loves jogging, sniffing butt, chewing kong, and humping dogs who don't respect his alpha status. Someday he hopes to travel to Africa to observe his youtube hero, the honey badger, in the wild.
