"My name "Lee" comes from an old Gaelic word that means means "clearing" or "meadow." Fortunately, "Lee" is a whole lot easier to spell than "Laoidheach!" It's an appropriate name because I love open grassy areas surrounded by trees and often wish I could see what Iowa looked like when much of it was oak savannah as far as the eye could see. I'll bet it looked almost as exotic to our eyes as the savannahs of Africa. I enjoy distance running, RAGBRAI, dancing, hiking, backpacking, and canoeing. Rock climbing, roller-blading, skiing, volleyball and ice-skating are all great too." |
