Welcome to IOWA OUTDOOR UNLIMITED!! IOU is an outdoor-enthusiast, adventure-seeking, and equipment-sharing club based in Des Moines. Composed of individuals of all ages, professions, interests and abilities. IOU is an excellent catalyst for getting outside to play! In 2010 and 2011 - IOU was nominated for Volunteer Group of the Year by Polk County Conservation.

Where: Gray's Lake - peninsula by the beach (map link) Terry McIntosh will be leading our first outdoor meeting of the year! He will cover basic bike maintenence to get your ready for your riding season. IOU is looking for event and trip leaders. We are working on creating membership cards for dues paying IOU members. (Our dues are $10 per year.) As we create parnterships with local businesses, you will be able to flash your IOU member card and get a discount. Check back for more information as things get rolling.
